Riddle of the day

No-one's suggested answers, even by private message, to the last couple of riddles. I don't know if this means you're bored of them now, or they were too easy or too hard, but I will keep trying to post them anyhow.

Riddle of the day:

Tough I am, but broken.
Tear me and bring me to a happy end.
