Riddle of the day

Riddle of the day:

Child of water and fire,
Ephemeral beauty.
Some seek my end,
but find it not.

Riddle of the day

No-one's suggested answers, even by private message, to the last couple of riddles. I don't know if this means you're bored of them now, or they were too easy or too hard, but I will keep trying to post them anyhow.

Riddle of the day:

Tough I am, but broken.
Tear me and bring me to a happy end.

Riddle of the day

Riddle of the day:

I walk three quarters of the world's path,
a heavy burden,
when I come through the door all greet me with joy

Riddle of the day

Sorry for the lack of riddles over the weekend, I had intended to post some, but had no time at all on Saturday, with the SfS Gathering, and yesterday was pretty packed with visiting the British Museum and the British Library, and enjoying London in the sun before heading home.

Riddle of the day:

World weavers,
Able to heal hurts,
or hurt worse than stick or stone.
Choose wisely from your chest.

Riddle of the day

Riddle of the day:

High on a cliff I saw a shepherd,
One eye crying to the sea,
No-one could hurt him,
And snuck away.
