Riddle of the day:

An angel steals me away,
as I lie in the deep dark.
Eventually I emerge,
stronger still from my ordeal.

The Odyssey weekend was excellent, and I will write about it soon. In the meantime, back to the riddles:

I saw a tall tower weeping,
at its top a flapping flag,
at its foot a sturdy stick.

I'm just off to Wales for the Odyssey weekend, but thought I ought not to go without today's riddle.

After many winters,
Scattered snow still lingers.

A dark cloud hovers under a gloomy sky,
Sun fearing, wind fearing, life sucking.

Down I lie,
my prey beneath.
Comfort I bring,
In the depths of the night.

Yet again I was offline over the weekend, so unable to post a riddle, but I hope you've got your brains in gear for a few more.

You see a sinful number
By the way I stand.
You will have a fine day
if you ignore me.

Ephemeral beauty.
Some seek my end,
but find it not.
